Biography

Ms. Lee-Johnson was born in Korea, studied in France, Germany, Korea and the USA.

She holds a B.F.A from the Parsons School of Design. She worked as an Environmental Designer in New York. She further studied at the Art Student League New York. She paints full time from her Studio in New York City and while sailing in the Caribbean.

Awards:
In 2005 Ms. Lee-Johnson won The Lloyd Sherward Grant and Award in Abstract Painting. During this time she developed her direction of psychological impact paintings.
In 2006 Ms. Lee-Johnson won the Merit Scholarship award.
In 2013 Ms. Lee-Johnson won the Dorothy L. Irish Memorial Award for Painting presented through the National Association of Women Artist in New York.
